Inspire parents with Online Reporting in Classroom Monitor
1) Online Reporting is easy to setup, using the MIS Synchronisation tool, details of classes, teachers, pupils, attendance and parents are automatically exported to Classroom Monitor each day - no importing of files or manual changes necessary. Parents will be able to login securely using their email address, meaning that they only have one login for all of their children - even if they attend different schools.

2) Create a 'reporting session' - select which parents to include, set the date on which you are aiming for teachers to have collated the information to share, write the text for the welcome email and select which areas of Classroom Monitor you wish to include from:
- Attendance
- Markbook assessments (met, working towards and target assessments in 'parent speak')
- Progress, attainment and targets (NC levels and EYFS points in table and/or graph format)
- Reports (Interim / end of year reports in your school's report template)
- Additional Grades (e.g. Behaviour, Effort, Attitude to Learning)
- Evidence of assessment (scanned work, photographs, videos, sound recordings)
- Learning resources (hyperlinks to useful websites or uploaded materials to engage parents in learning)

3) When teachers login, they can select the information to share for each of the enabled areas. When happy with their selections, teachers can preview how it will look to a parent, then 'sign off' the pupils online report.
4) Once complete for each pupil in the reporting session, the Classroom Monitor administrator can send a welcome email to each parent, inviting them to login and verify that they should have access to Classroom Monitor. After logging in, parents are able to browse the online report.
