A single markbook for:

  • Recording formative teacher assessment to support Assessment for Learning, summative results and extra curricular grading
  • Recording and storing evidence
  • Supporting uniform levelling, grading progress and student tracking
  • Monitoring transition through all keystages and year groups
  • Mapping assessment criteria to resources and sharing best practice across a department
  • Identifying and sharing student targets and deploying appropriate resources
  • Writing Reports (printed or via online portal for parents)

Keystages 3,4 & 5 in one place: Classroom Monitor comes preloaded with all assessment criteria from the National Curriculum, APP and P-Scales at Keystage 3. At Keystages 4 & 5 our experienced curriculum team customises Classroom Monitor to meet your exact requirements.

Student Self Assessment: Classroom Monitor also supports student self assessment, empowering students by allowing them to see targets, resources, and record their own judgements in readiness for moderation by teachers. This is a powerful addition to Assessment for Learning and can help to further reduce teacher workload.

Whole School Accessiblity: Classroom Monitor provides an accurate uniform measure of progress and performance - student by student, class by class, year by year, department by department - right across the school. Progress can be benchmarked against criteria from Government frameworks, with all this information to hand both senior management and staff can pinpoint and focus on the most important areas of learning and development areas.

"We are now able to track against specific targets rather than just levels, and intervention support has a real focus. Staff can monitor their own simply and quickly using the analysis tool. Regular keystage updates can be completed in a matter of minutes" Nathan Padgett, King Edward VI Humanities College, Lincs
